Full Moon Journey to Coyote Sleeping
Four Days of Adventure in the Mystical Monashee
Activities:
Day 1- Self Guided Tour of the best beaches and hikes around Vernon Overnight at the Lodged Inn
Day 2 Departure from the Lodged Inn in Vernon on a self-guided tour to Coyote Creek Art Village and Rendezvous Camp Experience art demos and an open working studio environment Make your own art Learn the four directions and tour the sculpture trail BBQ dinner with a vegetarian option Entertainment and storytelling Depart on a night time full moon sensory hike to the top of Coyote Sleeping for a mystical night of stargazing and drumming in the dawn.
Day 3 Arrive back at Coyote Creek for breakfast Free time to work and play in the studio, hike, bike or meditate After lunch explore the swimming holes, waterfalls and the bike trails of the area (self-guided) Dinner cooked over an open fire Overnight in a Tipi.
Day 4 - Departure early in the morning back to the Lodged Inn Full day on the Beach then accommodation at the Lodged Inn
Dinner is included on Day 1 and 2 as well as breakfast on Day 2.
Special Note: This tour is self guided, if a Shuttle is required extra charges apply. A detailed map of swimming , beaches and trails is provided. An option is available for a guided tour of sacred places and sights in the Monashee but extra charges apply. Non Tour Drop-in for the BBQ and Full Moon Sensory Hike is $25.00.
This tour is operated by the HI Lodged Inn Hostel and the
Coyote Creek Art Village and Rendezvous Camp. Prices, and tour dates along with tour details can be subject to change and a minimum number of participants are required, please reserve in advance.

Four days of exploring beaches, swimming and biking trails in the Vernon area using HI Hostels as your home-base then explore the Monashee wilderness area including a mystical full moon hike to the top of Coyote Sleeping to stargaze, drum and view the spectacular sunrise overlooking the four directions. Stay overnight in a Tipi at an Art Village and explore a sculpture trail in the forest, work and play in an art studio; dinner over an open fire and then explore swimming holes, waterfalls, hiking and biking trails in the Monashee.
